Parma confirm loan deals for Napoli duo
Parma have strengthened their attacking options by bringing in two Napoli players on loan. Midfielder Alberto Grassi and forward Roberto Inglese both join Napoli team-mate Luigi Sepe at Stadio Ennio Tardini.
The deal also includes an option for Roberto Inglese to join the club permanently come the end of the season. However, the deal for Grassi does not include such an option and the 23-year-old should return to Naples following this season.
Inglese signed for Napoli last summer returning to his previous club Chievo Verona on loan and impressed scoring 11 goals in 32 games. It was originally expected that he would be on the periphery of the first team in Naples this year after a regime change but it seems new manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that Inglese still needs more Serie A experience and it should be noted that even if Inglese moves to Parma permanently, Napoli retain a buyback clause.
On the other hand, Grassi had an underwhelming season with S.P.A.L last time out scoring just three goals in 28 games as the team suffered relegation back to Serie B and he will have something to prove if he wants to break into the set up at Napoli.
