Massimiliano Allegri is this week’s manager of the week. While Juventus weren’t at their best against Fiorentina, his team got a very impressive and important win to seal their 5th consecutive title.

What’s more, one of the changes Allegri made won the game. Álvaro Morata was introduced after 70 minutes in, 13 minutes later he scored the winner.

Fabrizio Castori also deserves a mention. Despite being sent to the stands after 25 minutes, his side managed to defeat Empoli in a game that had more red cards than goals. The 1-0 win kept Carpi three points ahead of fellow relegation candidates Palermo. The mere fact that Castori has kept the minnows competitive this late into the season and with a good chance of staying up, shows a degree of managerial brilliance.
