According to The Scotsman, an Italian scout has recommended Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney to Italian giants Juventus.
The left-back is a fan favourite at The Hoops, and has put in many great performances this season, helping Celtic to look more and more likely to win the Scottish treble for the second year in a row.
Many believe that Tierney could be one of the best left-backs in football for years to come but he may have to move to a bigger club than Celtic to get recognised worldwide.
With the future of Juve left-back, Alex Sandro, always looking unsettled, the Italian club may sign Tierney as the Brazilian’s replacement.
The scout, Nicola Liguori said this about Tierney
I first saw [Tierney] in an Old Firm game in September 2016; a match of monstrous intensity [with] seven bookings, a red card… In the middle of the battle there was a young boy, aged 19, who possessed a Latin technique that set him apart from the rest. This game alerted me to Tierney, who I then watched six to seven times in the [Scottish Premiership], Champions League and the national team.
However, it will have to take quite a hefty bid from Juve for Celtic to consider selling one of their brightest talents.
