Milan targeting move for Real Madrid playmaker
AC Milan are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez this summer.
According to Calcio Mercato, Milan have identified Rodriguez as a target and are working to bring him in over the next few months.
One stumbling block may prove to be his price tag. Real Madrid are demanding €70m to secure his services.
It remains to be seen whether Milan are ready to match that, especially given recent signings.
Milan have just spent €24m on Hakan Calhanoglu, who plays in a similar position to Rodriguez.
The San Siro giants have also signed Ricardo Rodriguez and Andre Silva for large transfer fees.
Rodriguez scored 11 goals and set up a further eight last season for Real but it appears as though they are willing to let him leave this summer.
The report also claims that PSG have held talks over a potential move for Rodriguez and could beat Milan to the punch.
