Donnarumma pushing for Milan contract extension
AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is looking to sign a contract extension with the club, despite reports.
Donnarumma has come under fire from Milan – and other – fans over the last month after news broke that he had rejected a contract from the club and wished to move.
The shot-stopper has one year left on his deal and has been touted with some of the best clubs in the world.
However, according to Calcio Mercato, it is his agent who is pulling all the string; Mino Raiola.
The report claims that Raiola is pushing for his client to make the switch to Real Madrid, presumably so that he can collect a big pay day from the transfer.
It is claimed that Donnarumma actually wants to stay at Milan and sign a contract extension but Raiola is causing a fuss and complicating matters.
Milan and Raiola are set to meet again this week to re-open negotiations, with a new contract still on the cards for Donnarumma.
