Jovetic and Melo could both return to Fiorentina
Inter duo Stevan Jovetic and Felipe Melo could return to former club Fiorentina as early as January La Nazione underline.
Jovetic spent 5 years in Florence prior to a big money move to Manchester City in 2013 and made over a century of appearances where he netted 35 goals.
He came close to a return to La Viola in the summer mercato but the move fell through as the clubs couldn’t agree on how the deal would be structured amongst other things. Inter will be more eager to sell the Montenegrin forward now too after his presence on the field against Pescara just over a month ago activated the 14.5 million euro redemption clause City and Inter agreed upon.
Felipe Melo on the other hand is being tipped as a possible replacement for Milan Badelj who is attracting a multitude of interest.
The tough tackling Brazilian midfielder spent just one season at the Artemio Franchi but earned himself a move to Juventus for his exploits while there.
Both players lack regular playing time and it may be best for all involved parties to part ways come January.
