Arkadiusz Milik has shared his feelings after undergoing successful surgery on his cruciate ligament injury sustained on international duty in the past week.

Speaking to Il Mattino, the Polish forward said,

The only pain that I feel is inside because I cannot play. The real pain is because I cannot face Roma. On Saturday, I want to be in the stadium to watch the match.

The 22 year old, summer addition is set for a spell on the sidelines between four and six months and Napoli currently have a big dilemma on their hands in terms of how they’ll replace the man brought in to replace Gonzalo Higuain. There are a number of solutions available to them but they are yet to solve their problem as of yet.

In six Serie A outings, Milik netted on four occasions and he was also able to add a further three goals in two Champions League games.
