Dani Alves to join Juventus
Juventus have been linked with a second Barcelona player in as many days, with Dani Alves being the latest player to have had contact with the Bianconeri.
Caneda SER has reported that the Brazilian full-back will join Juventus on a three year deal.
Despite being 33, Alves still has a lot to offer, including a plethora of European experience. That is something that Juventus are looking for in their transfer targets, as they look to turn their domestic dominance into European success.
The trophy-laden full-back has occupied the right-back berth at Barcelona since joining in 2008 but is one of many full-backs that is more capable on the front foot.
However, the combination playing alongside ‘BBC’ and Massimilano Allegri’s coaching could convert Alves into a more defensive player. Something that Juventus will need if they are going to finally transition from a back five to a back four next season.
